The East of England APPG was delighted to co host a parliamentary reception alongside Luton Rising, marking one year since London Luton Airport secured development consent order.
The event brought together parliamentarians, regional leaders and stakeholders to recognise the airport’s importance as one of the East of England’s key economic assets. London Luton Airport plays a vital role in supporting jobs, strengthening connectivity and attracting investment across the region.
Speaking at the reception, APPG Co Chair Jess Asato MP highlighted the contribution the airport makes to local communities and the wider regional economy. She also underlined the importance of backing major regional projects that can unlock growth, create new opportunities and help turn the East of England’s potential into national success.
The APPG was pleased to support the event and to continue championing investment, infrastructure and opportunity across the East of England.
