Westminster Hall Debate: Levelling Up in the East of England

A Backbench Westminster Hall Debate was secured by APPG CoChair Peter Aldous MP on the 18th January 2022. Fourteen backbenchers made contributions making the case for levelling up in the East of England – see Hansard here. At the conclusion of the highly successful debate, Neil O’Brien MP, Minister for Levelling Up gave the following reassurance: 

“the east of England will absolutely not be overlooked by the levelling-up agenda”
